Peru resort us a beautiful, quaint resort located almost at the top of a hill, surrounded by lush green trees. Cleanliness was good, amazing hospitality by staff. The dishes we ordered along with tea were nice. The view from the room and lobby are unparalleled. Overall, a recommended place for day outing as well as for stay. They conduct a trek to nearby temple also..

Perched on one of the highest points of the hill , the drive itself was a visual treat. On reaching , we were met and ushered into a room which smelt of pine wood, no artificial scent , coming from the room . Even the cots are made of logs nailed together. After a typical Pahari meal,(you can chose from an elaborate menu), we relaxed to the sounds of birds and gazed at the mountain view dotted with specks which represented goats climbing uphill to their pasture. The property is well maintained with facility for indoor and outdoor games. The food is incredibly good and the staff are courteous. Most importantly, they are compassionate. If you are looking for a peaceful stay in the hills with excellent food and the generosity of the people of Uttarakhand, do visit the Peru Resort.
