About the Tour:
Whenever someone plans to have a romantic getaway in the midst of serene backwaters and
golden, shimmering beaches, the first place that comes to mind is Kerala. The
breathtaking beauty, serene backwaters, lush tea gardens, and pristine palm-lined
beaches make Kerala an ideal destination for honeymooners. It never fails to fascinate
its visitors, for the place has the perfect natural setting to have an excellent getaway
and create moments to be cherished for a lifetime.
Detail Itinerary —
Day 1 - Cochin arrival and Sightseeing
Meet & assist upon arrival at Cochin Airport by our Driver & transfer to the hotel.
With its wealth of historical associations and beautiful setting on a cluster of islands
and narrow peninsulas, Cochin or Kochi, reflects the eclecticism of Kerala perfectly.
Traders from the West came to Kerala as far back as the 3rd century B.C. and took back
with them spices, ivory, and teak. Much later, in the 15th century, the Portuguese,
Dutch, French, and British came to this region in the guise of merchants, some to stay
on as colonial rulers.
Later, sightseeing visiting Fort Cochin, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis
Church, Jew Town, Chinese fishing nets etc.
Day 2 - Cochin - Munnar by Road (130kms/4-5hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Munnar & transfer to the hotel. Munnar is a misty, lush green
hill station up in the Annamalai range of Kerala, Munnar's tea gardens, some of the
highest in the world, stretch up the sides of the hills and are interspersed with
pockets of forest rich in wildlife. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 3 - Munnar
After breakfast, enjoy the scenic beauty of Munnar with its marvelous waterfalls, lush
tea gardens, and high mountains with low-flying clouds. This day’s sightseeing can
include a visit to Mattupetty for boating, Kundala dam, Eco-point, Top station,
Indo-Swiss cattle farm, etc.
You can also visit DEVIKULAM: An enchanting Hill station. The Sita Devi Lake with its
mineral waters and picturesque surroundings. Powerhouse waterfalls, Anayirankal Dam.
Later visit, Nyamakadu waterfalls, Anaimudy view (South India Highest peak – 8841 feet
from sea level = 2695 meters) & Eravikulam National Park – RAJAMALAI- Where you can see
the rare species- Mountain Goat).
Day 4 - Munnar
Day at leisure or free for your own activities.
Day 5 - Munnar- Alleppey - Kovalam by Road (161 kms/6-7hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey for Day 01 Hour Small Shikara through the lake (as
per time availability) . Later Continue driving to Kovalam & en route visit the beach &
Janardana Swami Temple. Kovalam is a small coastal town in the southern Indian state of
Kerala, south of Thiruvananthapuram. At the southern end of Lighthouse Beach is a
striped lighthouse with a viewing platform. Palm-backed beaches also include Hawa Beach
and Samudra Beach. Heading south, Vizhinjam Juma Masjid mosque overlooks the busy
fishing harbor.
Day 6 - Kovalam
Enjoy the Arabian waves touching your heart. Rest of the day at leisure (Kovalam Beach)
or You can enjoy the Ayurveda Treatment in the hotel by your Own or do half-day
sightseeing like enjoy the drive to Trivandrum & visit Padmabha Swamy Temple,
Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, and the Napier Museum.
Day 7 - Kovalam
Day at leisure (Kovalam Beach)
Day 8 - Kovalam-Trivandrum by Road (15kms/30mins)
Enjoy a day at Leisure and depart to Airport for a flight back home.
