HOTEL BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of hotel
booking services provided on www.minibreaks.in,
operated by Minibreaks India Private Limited (“Minibreaks”, “we”, “us”,
“our”).
The terms “Customer”, “User”, or “You”
refer to any individual who accesses, books, or transacts through the
Minibreaks platform.By proceeding with a booking, the Customer confirms having read,
understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
1. Identification & Check-In Requirements
- As
per applicable Government regulations, every guest above the age of 18
years must carry a valid photo identity proof at the time of hotel
check-in.
Accepted ID proofs:
- Passport
- Driving
Licence
- Voter
ID Card
- Ration
Card
PAN Card is not accepted as a valid ID for hotel
check-in.
- Failure
to present valid identification may result in denial of check-in by the
hotel, for which Minibreaks shall not be responsible, and no
refund shall be applicable.
- Certain
hotels reserve the right to decline accommodation to local/city
residents or unmarried couples, subject to their internal policies.
Minibreaks shall not be liable for such denial, and no refund
shall be processed in such cases.
2. Booking Confirmation & Hotel Policies
- Bookings
are confirmed only for the specified check-in date mentioned on the
confirmation voucher.
- Standard
hotel check-in time is 12:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM,
unless otherwise specified by the hotel.
- Early
check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and hotel
discretion and may attract additional charges payable directly to the
hotel.
- Failure
to check-in on the first day of the reservation shall result in automatic
forfeiture of the entire booking amount, with no cancellation or
refund permitted.
- If
the Customer is not contactable on the contact details provided at
the time of booking, the reservation may be cancelled, and Minibreaks
shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss.
3. Nature of Booking & Refund Policy
- All
bookings made on Minibreaks.in are non-refundable, unless explicitly
stated otherwise in writing.
- Where
refunds are permitted strictly as per hotel policy:
- E-wallet
refunds: 5-7 workign days
- Bank
/ card refunds: processed by Minibreaks within 7-10 working days, subject
to bank timelines.
- Refunds
shall be credited only to the original mode of payment or account transfer as an special case only.
4. Amendments & Cancellations
- All
amendments or cancellations must be initiated only through Minibreaks.
Hotels are not authorised to modify bookings or issue refunds for
Minibreaks bookings.
- Amendments
or cancellations shall be governed strictly by the respective hotel’s
cancellation policy, which the Customer is advised to review prior to
booking.
5. Services, Facilities & Special Requests
- Any
special requests made by the Customer shall be forwarded to the hotel but
are subject to availability and hotel discretion.
- Minibreaks
does not guarantee any specific facilities, amenities, or services,
and shall not be liable for any deficiency or discrepancy at the hotel
level.
- Extra
beds, if available, may be provided via folding cot or mattress, subject
to room size and hotel policy.
6. Festive & Additional Charges
- Gala
dinner charges applicable during Christmas, New Year, or other festive
dates are additional and payable directly to the hotel.
- All
taxes and charges shall be levied on an actual basis.
7. Convenience / Service Fee – Non-Refundable Clause
- In
addition to the booking amount, Minibreaks reserves the right to charge
convenience fees and/or service fees for booking facilitation, payment
processing, customer support, and operational handling.
- Convenience
fees and service fees are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances,
including but not limited to:
- Cancellation
by the Customer
- No-show
- Partial
or non-utilisation
- Denial
of check-in
- Amendments
or rescheduling
- Operational
or system issues
- Force
majeure events
- If
any refund is processed for the booking amount (where applicable), convenience/service
fees shall be retained by Minibreaks as merchant facilitation charges.
- By
proceeding with the booking, the Customer expressly agrees to the
non-refundability of convenience charges.
8. Force Majeure
- Minibreaks
shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events
beyond its reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”).
- Force
Majeure Events include, but are not limited to:
- Natural
disasters, pandemics, epidemics
- Government
orders, travel bans, curfews
- War,
riots, strikes, civil disturbances
- Power
failures, internet or system outages
- Actions
or omissions of hotels or third-party service providers
- In
such events, Minibreaks may suspend, modify, or cancel bookings without
liability.
- No
compensation or damages shall be payable due to Force Majeure Events.
Any refund, if permitted by the hotel, shall be subject to deduction of
non-refundable components, including convenience fees.
9. Payments & Interest
- Late
payment interest at 24% per annum shall be charged on outstanding
dues.
- Cheques
or demand drafts must be crossed “A/C Payee Only” and drawn in
favour of Minibreaks India Private Limited.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance
with the laws of India.
The Customer agrees that courts at Faridabad, Haryana, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over
any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or bookings made
through Minibreaks.
